Tonton’s free video course

Bonjour les amis!

This is your chance to experience learning French with Tonton the Tortoise and

me, Heidi, absolutely FREE!

Take a look at our video to see what we are about:

So why not start learning right away?!

If you have thought for a long time that you would like your child, aged between two to seven, to start learning a language but you have hesitated because you don’t know where to start, sign up to our free French learning video series for kids and try learning French with me and Tonton the Tortoise for ten days.

For ten days you will receive one video a day teaching you a handful of basic French vocabulary, but most importantly you and your child will learn how to use the vocabulary to create sentences and to build on those sentences in order to continue learning more without the struggle and frustration that is very often associated with language learning or teaching!

You will see that the way I teach makes learning fun and simple. Learning a language doesn’t have to be hard or complicated, and you can begin with surprisingly little but see meaningful results in a very short space of time.

Why have I created this video series?

As I write this page I am expecting a baby in January 2012 and will therefore be taking a break from teaching Bonjour Tonton French classes for a while in the new year.

I didn’t want to lose the momentum I had built up with my children’s French classes in Exeter and I didn’t want to stop interacting with customers and also potential customers who are  interested in their children learning French with me.

So if you are a parent or teacher of children aged between two to seven and are interested in starting your kids learning French young, then these videos are for you, no matter where in the world you are.

I would like to show you a little about what I do and how my teaching method is so effective. And if you do happen to be waiting for me to start the Exeter kids’ classes again then I would like to offer you something to start learning with while you wait!

For a long time I have wanted to reach a much wider audience with my teaching ideas. I would like to inspire and help as many people as possible who work with or who are parents of early learners to start introducing their children to a second language whilst having lots of fun, and these videos seem a good place to start.

I am interested to see if these videos are something that you will find useful to learn with. I am offering them to you in order to get feedback from as wide a range of people as possible; people who are interested in giving their children a headstart with learning a language.

But I won’t know if these videos are useful for you and your children until you tell me that they are!

If you are a parent or teacher and, like me, have felt it difficult to find resources for early years’ language learning or if you have struggled finding the best way to start teaching a foreign language to your children or groups of children that you work with, then I would love you to watch my videos and to have your valuable feedback.

I have seen great results with the children I have worked with over the past two and a half years of teaching and creating my French classes and I would like to be able to share the things I have learnt with many more families and schools.

I have never done anything like this before so I am sure room for improvement is vast! I would love to hear what you think.

So sign up for your free French learning video course and you will receive a video of Tonton and I teaching you French phrases and vocab for the next ten days. We can’t wait to to start working with you!

Add your details here to receive your course NOW!

To get to know you a little better and to be better able to produce language learning materials that are exactly suited to those who want them, I would be grateful if you would be willing to fill in the short survey below about your needs as a parent or teacher.

Dear Heidi

I’m am trying to locate a group of French speaking mums in Exeter – I work at the Foreign Language Centre at the University. I wonder if you would happen to know of a contact for them?

Thank you for your help.

Best wishes

Margaret
